Nice pils with some snap. Hop bitterness shines through, malty aroma, pale golden color with short foamy head. Hops linger on the palate also.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear golden with a decent sized head. Aroma is malty with a hint of grass and herbal notes. Aroma has bread and grain combined wit sourness of grass and herbs. Well balanced overall. A decent pils. (0,5l bottle, bb 30.08.2017)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a decent Pils with a slight bitterness, that grows on one if you drink more than one. Always surprised at how well the eastern breweries have perfected their own Pils.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can 50cl, a clear yellow beer. Nose is on wet paper and nuts. Aroma is very low, very watery, low nutty touch with metallic hints, dusty hops, very boring.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
September 2016 - 500ml plastic screw-top bottle in Berlin as ’Lübzer Pils’, 4.9%, BB Jan 2017. Brewed at Brauerei Lubz, which has apparently been brewing ’seit 1877’. Clear golden, lightly sparkling, foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is airy, sawdust, some hay. Mostly just thin air. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, frothy. Too fizzy. Taste is on the weird side – candyfloss, bubblegum, slightly burnt grains, some hop bitterness showing up. Grew on me after the initial shock of flavours, but still a sub-par lager. (2.0)

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle (Random corner shop, Berlin)
Rich straw, tiny head. Light malty aroma. Bready taste, gentle hoppy bitterness. Finish weetabixy, and with some nice citrussy noble hops. An easy drinker, refreshing. Pretty decent for the Carlsberg stable.
