Golden color with white head that doesn't last long. Fruity and light biscuit aromas and taste. Light bodied. Slight spice. Refreshing and quite enjoyable.

Tap sampled at a restaurant in Eau Clare. The beer pours to a vibrant golden body with a starch white head and sexy lacing. Thick coating head. The aroma is typical and simple with nice pale malt and clean hops. The flavor is sweet pale malt with a sweet cascade like hop. Very smooth and crisp. Spices are subtle. The palate was smooth and crisp. I liked this a lot and thought it was well made. Very sessionable. StoutBeerReviews (148) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 13, 2016
Very smooth, mild and consistent flavor, very light body. Not much aroma. Flavor is spice vanilla and pomegranate , kinda creamy. Overall very easy drinking and appealing. (I’m a little biased cus this is brewed 5 mins from where I live lol) pleasant is the best word to describe this one Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - AUG 4, 2012
16oz can. Rating #9. Clear golden color with a nice little white head. Grainy, slightly sweet, a little honey maybe. Light sweetness, still picking up a little honey and a light spice, very clean and tasty. (2453) crowderm (382) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Not sure what all the low ratings are about. Nice golden pour with a solid white head. Aroma was fruitier than expected - mostly apricots and honey. Flavor is similar. I don’t get too much from the added spices, but the same fruitiness from the aroma comes through nicely. My one complaint is that the finish is a little messy, but otherwise good beer, and very sessionable.

Nice, easygoing ale, no frills, but pretty and quite drinkable. The malts give a slight graininess, and the finish is mellow and mildly spicy. Boring? Yes. Good? Also yes. mully262 (56) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Very smooth blonde ale. Slight fruit aroma. Refreshing with hints of a spice. Very interesting blonde.
I recommend trying this beer. Brigadier (3680) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - SEP 17, 2014

A nice summer beer lives up to all expectations. A solid recipe leads to a top notch summer drinker from a brewery I look forward to revisiting in the future. Lucette should have a promising future if they continue to release beers like this.
Aroma / Appearance - A bronze semitransparent core and agitated ivory head pair well. White pepper, lemons, and yeast emit the smell of white wine. Hay bales after harvest add a late summer texture.
Flavor / Palate - White pepper, yeast, and hay lend an earthy base to a light sessionable mouthfeel. The down to earth bitterness comes a few seconds later. The only failing occurs towards the end when the spiciness takes on a harsh nature. Overall though it provides enough pleasure to be easy to finish. If you are looking for a solid local you could fare worse than the Farmer’s Daughter.
Had this beer at the 4th Annual Casanova Beer Cave Festival. Really light and smooth, good for camping. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Can via kbutler1, thanks Kevin! Pours a hazy straw yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is funky, cheese and some barnyard with a bit of banana mixed in. Taste is subdued with a bit of hef wheat and a mild belgian kick at the end. Overall, enjoyable and easy drinking which is rad for a beer that could be consumed from a can while camping. (Probably got bumped up a % point based on being from a can.)
