Lucid AIR is the lightest beer produced by Lucid Brewing. A blend of the palest malted barley and wheat combined with a mix of American hops give this beer a sweet citrus aroma with hints of key-limes. The smooth light body is effervescent and finishes clean and crisp. Filtered to perfection, this beer is great for the boat, sitting around the campfire, and everyday enjoyment.

This beer is a good example of why I don’t get this site sometimes - Why the bias against lighter beers? This is really good beer. Ignore the low ratings on this one. Many people don’t seem to understand that light doesn’t necessarily mean a beer is not complex and pleasing. Lucid Air is one of my favorite local Twin Cities offerings. Crisp fresh aroma, nice clean grainy palette with a slightly bitter citrus finish. It has more bite than what you would expect from a lower alcohol beer. Listen I like uber hopped beer as much as the next guy, but I like a little variety too. There’s always room for Lucid Air in my refrigerator.

Smooth, rounded, malt easy. Nothing magnificent but it is what’s on tap here. Smooth on the palate maybe even a bit clingy.

Bottle. Nose has some grain, yeast and coconut notes. Mouthfeel is creamy and refreshing with hop notes that are similar to coconut that compliment the malt quite well. Good for a light ale.

On tap at Melting Pot. Strong citrus aroma, some malt sweetness. Thicker palate than expected. Pretty good even for winter. Nick says "a little skunky but I like it". ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Red brown pour. Aroma butter. Tastes wheat, mango, rustic. Better than your average blonde by a degree or two.

355ml bottle. An extremely buttery ale, jsut too much buttery biscuit for me to handle.

Bottled sample from Whole Foods in Minneapolis. Light straw color. Huge head. Incredibly bubbly. Not my style ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
