Ungstrup (38941) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 4, 2013
Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of mango and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of mango, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry light herbal and grapefruity. Light toasted malty, citrusy and mango. Lingering crisp citrusy and smooth fruity. Bitter and mild citrusy.

On tap at Winterfest 2013. Clear orange with no head. Hops and malt in aroma and taste.

Ericular (1042) - Minnesota, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Pours golden with lasting white head and decent lacing. Aroma is bread, hay and corn. Taste is sweet and corn with much less hops than expected. With the lack of hops and corn vibe, this reminds me too much of a Miller Lite with slightly more substance.

Bottle into glass. Appearance- Looks like a pale, head is there but doesn’t last forever. Aroma- biscuit, citrus with subtle floral/herb. Taste- much like the nose with a bit more orange citrus and mild spicy earthy hops. Palate- medium to light body with some bitterness and very clean. This pale is subtle but complex. The style is more of a balanced old/new world style. My favorite part is that it isn’t pushing the boundary of IPA and Pale. Aromatic and clean like a pale should be.

Had at MN State Fair this past summer on tap. Average pale ale with some spicy undertones.

jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Bottle shared at Exira Beer Summit 2012. Thanks to bnielsen13 for sharing. Pours a golden color with big white head. Very foamy. Malty sweet, biscuit, almost corn aroma. Malty, bitter, bready flavor, not a lot of hops. Overcarbonated, and mouthfeel is tingly as a result. Not very good pale ale.

Bottle @ Exira Beer Summit III. Thanks to bnielsen13! Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a big white head. Herbal, veggie, corn, a bit tangy aroma. Tangy, chewy herbal, corny flavor. Not good.

piscator34 (2673) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 6, 2012
Bottled sample. Gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of soapy citrus fruit, pear, and a bit of bready/toasty malts. Flavors are of white grapefruit, caramel, earth, weeds, and white pepper. Medium to light bodied with a firm earthy bitterness. A fairly standard, if somewhat rustic, APA. Solid.

Strykzone (7799) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - OCT 29, 2012
Sampled at an esbls tasting. Looks like a champagne. This is bitter. Also has fruit and yeast. Light malts. Mostly it is bitter.
