UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bomber at Darkness Day 2012 - procured from Zipp’s Liquor in Minneapolis. Light gold pour with a white head. Watermelon rind, caramel malt, nice syrupy palate. Quite good. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 11, 2012
On tap at town hall... Pours crystal clear apricot orangey hue and topped with a frothy white head... Aroma of citrusy hops and light grains. A bit if pineapple surfaces as well. A bit of butter.. Flavors are citrusy, semi-sweet with a biscuity malt presence. Medium bodied. Atom (2594) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 10, 2012
Bomber pours a clear orange/copper with a large off-white head. Aroma of buttery caramel malt, vanilla, watermelon, and light tropical hops. Very smooth texture tastes of pleasant vanilla like caramel malt, grassy with citrus and slight spicy tropical hop bitterness on the finish. Over all easy drinking and enjoyable. Easily the best so far from Lucid, if only their regular lineup was as good. nsquishee (641) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - OCT 1, 2012
I’m very glad I picked up this bomber from Zipp’s tonight. I really like Cammo, but it doesn’t stand out against HopSlam or Abrasive. Wammo on the other hand can step right into that ring and slap somebody around with a sweet, hoppy, yet deadly dIPA punch. This beer is sweet like honey, oranges, and fresh hops. Cammo has a very smooth palate and a well hidden hop bitterness. The ABV and heavy wet-hopping is well placed behind the sweet and smooth malting.
