COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian golden ale. On the nose it is lightly hoppy and yeastily spicy, with faint caramelly malt notes and a touch of citrusy and estery fruit. The head tastes extremely bitter, as is often the case with this style. Surprisingly fruity, but with a strong hoppy bitterness. There is a warming, malty, vanilla quality to it, which develops into an alcohol kick towards the end. Secondary fermentation in the bottle.

Golden hazy liquid with small white particles. Rocky off white head. Aroma of lemons and sweet honey. Flavors quite the same as the aroma. Nothing to complex, but quite drinkable.

Not too thrilled with this one. Nice look, extremely heavily carbonated. the cork flew out when i pulled the wire off before i even touched it. Funny odor that I coldnt place. Quite alcoholic flovr and aftertaste. Not that good.

Awful aroma, quite possibly the worst I have ever encountered. I thought it had skunked, although the flavor was not that bad. hoppy finish with a nice citrus zing up front. Sweet. Yet the odor ruined it for me, so much that i could not even finish the beer.

Blond beer with a big head. Hop and yeast aroma. Sweet hoppy bitter taste. The alcohol is obvious.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2003 Huge head on this bad boy. It is a good Belgian, although not as thick as many I've had... the flavor was more like a Begian Light beer. Certainly good, but more flavor would be appreciated.

Champagne style appearance. Very light and bubbly. Light grass, straw nose. Slightly bitter and acidic with a good dose of carbination. The alcohol is well masked behind the dry yeast and outdoor flavors.

Rather boring nose from what I prefer, but nothing to complain about. The sweetness is quite present, so much that it adds nicely to the bite presented here. Quite bubbly at the begenning, but clams down nicely.

Big sticky Belgian head. Slight chill haze. Spicy nose, perhaps coriander. Mild sweet palate that reminds me of Champagne.

Subtle aroma, looks a bit naff, tastes kinda thin but bubbly. Bitter in a chalky feel. Minimal spice. Doesn’t feel like a high alcohol beer. You have to check the bottle to make that it really said 8%. Still, pretty good.
