COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian golden ale. On the nose it is lightly hoppy and yeastily spicy, with faint caramelly malt notes and a touch of citrusy and estery fruit. The head tastes extremely bitter, as is often the case with this style. Surprisingly fruity, but with a strong hoppy bitterness. There is a warming, malty, vanilla quality to it, which develops into an alcohol kick towards the end. Secondary fermentation in the bottle.

One of the better Belgian Ales that I have had, but I am still not a fan of this style.

Got Stout? (173) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 20, 2001
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2005 The beer was very citrus-like, with extreme notes of alcohol. The abv is relatively small for what it’s implies, but the alcoholic taste is not masked by its thin malt character. A light hop-bite was felt after swallowing though, and that was very good! But, I did not really enjoy all 750mL of it...

I could easily sell my soul to this beer. Beautiful gold/copper color. Very smooth, and not very hoppy. Very pleasant nose, and it tastes great. One of my new favorites, and its has a cool name!
