COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian golden ale. On the nose it is lightly hoppy and yeastily spicy, with faint caramelly malt notes and a touch of citrusy and estery fruit. The head tastes extremely bitter, as is often the case with this style. Surprisingly fruity, but with a strong hoppy bitterness. There is a warming, malty, vanilla quality to it, which develops into an alcohol kick towards the end. Secondary fermentation in the bottle.

Holy smokes! It smells like a Wit beer, all right. I had this in one of 2 samplers I had at the Flying Saucer in Houston. Then I had a full glass after a meal. Very nice light yellow color, leaving a very fizzy mouthfeel. If you dig Wits, you’ll sell your soul for a Lucifer!

With a name like Lucifer, i was expecting a hard, alcoholic beer that would knock me to the floor. but instead a got a sweet, weissbier taste, with a good aftertaste. golden in color, good head, and very easy to drink. having another one later =)

Mmm, delicious. Effervescent, crisp, and dry. Nice amount of alcohol with a distinct and somewhat unique blend of the usual Belgian spices.

belgian golden ale.
this is one of the better Duvel imitators - it even has a similar name.

more citrusy than duvel but still enjoyable

The cork hit the ceiling--that's pretty cool. More refreshing than a Corsendonk Pale, but less interesting.

I had this before Duvel and liked it VERY much. However, once I had Duvel I could appreciate the subtle diffrences in it. STILL it is a very good Belgian Ale.

A light spice aroma. Looks great. The flavor has a good spiciness to it up front. A little alcohol in the finish. Nice light color; much more like a tripel to me. Tasty beer.
