Rating the 2012 batch from Het Snker. Pours with a towering head, and nice golden color (tulip glass). Closely resembles a Duvel in taste and body. Sought this one out and was rewarded with a nice drink! Bamaboy1975 (248) - Suffolk, Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2014
A: Light golden pale color, slightly cloudy S: Mild clove spice scent along with banana and fruit T: The taste of cloves translate from the nose to the palate strongly, not foreign to these types of beers. I generally don’t like Belgian beers, but I really enjoyed this one. The alcohol content warms as it goes down. O: I liked this beer a lot, I knew I couldn’t go wrong with a name like “Lucifer” and I was right. It was refreshing, clean and light, I look forward to drinking it again

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2007 I mightily enjoyed this beer on draft at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore in a trappist style glass. The aroma was rich with fruit and citrus hops, some caramel malt too and yeast. It had a warming golden-yellow color with a big, foamy white head. The flavor was great, noticeable fruity touches, mostly sweet, but with a good slightly bitter-sour finish. It was a fairly wet beer, and pretty lively on my palate with a full mouthfeel. A very drinkable beer that was gone in no time! DrPiva (96) - Alabama, USA - DEC 19, 2007
Bottle. A belgian golden ale similar to Duvel with a fruity, winey bouquet and a malty, pear flavor. A sherry-oak finish, and a semi-dry, mildly bitter, hoppy, fruity aftertaste.
