COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucifer entered the market in the early 1980s under the label of the Riva brewery. It was an extension to the popular segment of strong, blond beers. In 2009, brewery Het Anker obtained the right to brew and commercialize Lucifer.

Lucifer is a strong, blond beer (8.0%) with a gold yellow color and creamy white head.
Its fruity aroma with subtle notes of bitter hops, followed by a long and perfectly balanced finish, will definitely seduce you!

Light yellow, biscuit, bubblegum, and belgian yeast on the nose. Rather thin mouthfeel. Light hop bitterness. Not one of my favorites.

Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Ale Alpharetta December Meeting. Quite bizarre that I have not had anything from this brewery yet. Golden pour. Getting a heavy dose of biscuity malt, grass, little spicy, lemons. Just ok.

Clear light amber gold color, and fizzy head. Has an unusual aroma of bubblegum. Slight hop in a fruity sweet taste. Has a fizzy feel.

Slightly hazy golden appearance with a little sedimentation and a massive head. Malty and fruity aroma. Refreshing Belgian strong ale.

Gold, clear, fluffy white head. Aroma of crackerlike malt, corriander, light lemon, some pear. Flavor is similar--light earthy spice and fruity notes of pear, strawberry. Buttery diacetyl notes came forward as it warmed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 11, 2013
Poured light golden with a healthy white head. Aroma is muted zesty, sweet fruit and caramel malt. Medium body, flavour is much as the aroma.

WhoU (126) - Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA - DEC 5, 2013
Bottle at Cape Town Festival of Beer 2013: Pours medium brown straw with medium head and a hint of lace. Aroma: some malt, bread, dough and yeast Hints of citrus fruits. Taste was medium sweetness and sour. Could be better.

pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - DEC 3, 2013
Aroma: Fresh bread with faint yeast aromas. Hints of citrus fruits. Appearance: Sparkling pale straw color. Taste: Light sweetness with medium sourness. Palate: Light body, average carbonation, sticky texture, faint lingering finish. Overall: Seems underdeveloped and thin. Considering the price, I’m a bit disappointed.

Average. In every way. All the tasting notes are there but nothing calls itself out to makes this special. Overall too subdued. And my bottle has an off putting aroma. B-/C+ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

crossovert (13413) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2013 Picked up a can for 1$. Pours a hazy gold, big white head, leaves nice lacing. Smell is banana and clove, some base malt underneath as well as subtle flowers. Flavor is nice, has a bit of metal, lots of clean maltiness, hint of alcohol but not too much, some phenols, lighter fruitiness, medium sweetness with a bit of drynes sin the finish. A lesser brew form this producer but still very nice and was worth the buck, bought the last 3 cans at that price.
