COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucifer entered the market in the early 1980s under the label of the Riva brewery. It was an extension to the popular segment of strong, blond beers. In 2009, brewery Het Anker obtained the right to brew and commercialize Lucifer.

Lucifer is a strong, blond beer (8.0%) with a gold yellow color and creamy white head.
Its fruity aroma with subtle notes of bitter hops, followed by a long and perfectly balanced finish, will definitely seduce you!

750ml bottle that pours golden but murky with fluffy white head. Has a juicy fruit nose. More dry than sweet with mild citrus flavors mixed with tart apples. Easy to drink. Palate cleansing finish. This could pass as a mild Triple. Always a good one.

Pale blonde pour with two fingers of sticky white head. Nose is meeeeh, raw Belgian esters and raw bread dough with a touch of spice. Some stone fruits and touch of acidity. Flavor lean towards bread dough and yeast upfront withsome white fruit and spice. Medium light bodied.

RexTalionis (3747) - FINLAND - OCT 17, 2013
Bottle 33 cl, BBE 06/12/2014. Pours unclear golden in color with a massive foamy white head. Sweet ripe fruityness, some doughy notes and bit of spicyness, perhaps a bit like old cardamum in aroma. Sweetish marzipan, light boozyness and semi-biting spicyness in taste. Leaves one with a sweetish sugary aftertaste. Not spectacular but something intriguing with this one for the moment though. Perhaps the good drinkability combined with some sweeter notes was just right at this time.

tfredvik (1941) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 14, 2013
Pours a very hazy, medium golden body with a large, creamy, white head that stays finger-thick until my glass is empty (apart from lots of lacing). The aroma is strong, I get fruits, spices, honey, yeast and faint pale malts. The long-lasting finish is moderate bitter. Rather strong flavours with bubble gum and alcohol, in addition to the elements found in the aroma. Oily texture, medium body, lively carbonation. Lovely!

bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - OCT 10, 2013
33cl from brewer, Brugs BF 2013. Clean and lean apple&pear (with yeast banana) Belgian golden ale with standard tripel characteristics so typical that this has become exactly the degree zero of brewing for me: like your tasting buds are listening to Emerson, Lake & Palmer in an elevator...

Light gold pour. Aroma is yeast and tart apple. Taste yeasty and a touch of citrus. More tripel like than belgian ale. Ok at best.

Westchesterco (2043) - mclean, Virginia, USA - OCT 3, 2013
Poured from a bottle it is a hazy golden color with an amazing prolific white head; the aroma is lemon and the taste is sweet like root berr which lapses onto a tangey aftertaste.

From a 33 cl bottle shared at home. Pours a clear gold with a massively thick off white head. Aroma of bubble gum and banana. Fairly sweet flavor with a hint of caramel. Effervescent mouthfeel. Crisp finish.

Medium beer, good nut not excellent. Golden color with a white foam. Medium mouthfeel taste.
