COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucifer entered the market in the early 1980s under the label of the Riva brewery. It was an extension to the popular segment of strong, blond beers. In 2009, brewery Het Anker obtained the right to brew and commercialize Lucifer.

Lucifer is a strong, blond beer (8.0%) with a gold yellow color and creamy white head.
Its fruity aroma with subtle notes of bitter hops, followed by a long and perfectly balanced finish, will definitely seduce you!

BB log, Bottle, yellow golden color with a medium head and nice lacing. Notes of plum, banana, clove, fig, belgian yeast, and earth. Medium to fuller mouthfeel with a lasting finish and slight warming effect in the body. ITs solid but prefer other Belgians to this offering.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Goudgeel, licht troebel bier. Heftig schuimend bij inschenken. Witte schuimkraag blijft lang staan. Bier heeft een aroma van citrusvruchten. Smaak is fruitig en ietsje hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

T: malt, orange peels, coriander, herbal, green peppery, apple, medium full body, over-carbonated with huge foam, not bad, 33cl bottle from Lidl @ Etterbeek, Brussels.

Pours hazy, straw-colored from the bottle and leaves behind a voluminous, foamy head. The head soon fades to a more manageable surface froth that lingers for the duration. Aroma is yeasty with a touch of clove, but overall quite subdued. Taste is lightly bitter up front, dry, and complemented by a prickly carbonation that balances out nicely and sets up a refeshing crispness that carries into a finish lightly warmed by the 8% ABV. The overall flavors follow the scent - yeasty, clove, and a light tartness. Nothing particularly memorable, but this is drinking at a good level.

Kolor jasno z?oty z pomara?czowymi prze?witami, jest wyra?nie zm?tniony. Piana bia?a, sztywna o konsystencji bitej ?mietany, wysoka i d?ugotrwa?a, topniej?c pozostawia mnóstwo w?sów na szkle. Aromat owocowy, s?odki z delikatn? kwaskowato?ci?, s?odowo?? niezbyt wysoka. Wysycenie wysokie w kierunku do ?redniego, mi osobi?cie odpowiada. Alkohol

Pours a hazy to cloudy colour of a potato chips bag. Plenty of foam, especially when you first open the bottle. Belgian yeast, candi sugar, caramel malt, fruity hops with a tinge of tartness. Yeasty taste. Some candi sugar, fruity light tartness, kinda hoppy. Smell is superior to taste but it is still quite drinkable. Fairly light bodied with light carbonation despite all that foam. Dated April 23rd 2014. Best by or bottled on?

the aroma is fruity and malty with hints of sweet orange, garden berries, yeast, vanilla and sweet wine... the taste is fruity and malty with notes of orange, apple, candy, dessert wine, tangerine and some spices... sweet, dry and bitter aftertaste...

Since moving to Utah, almost every Belgium beer I pour has an uncontrollable head. Unsure if it is an altitude thing, or maybe how it is shipped/stored - as Utah has the weird alcohol laws. Pours with a large head, and a darker-straw like color. Aroma is yeasty with a bit of pepper and clove. Taste is clove, pear, yeast...maybe a bit bubblegum. Coats the mouth. Low carbonation. It is good...but not too memorable. It won’t crack my list as a go to Belgium

The beer has a nice but simple look. The color of he beer is a nice golden yellow. The beer is rather clear. On top of the beer a nice layer of white foam is formed. The smell is nice. It has array fresh fruity hop aroma. It’s way more hoppy than most Belgian ales. The beer smells of citrus fruits and zest. There is a mellow sweet malt aroma. The balance is lovely. I like this fruitiness and freshness in a beer. The taste is great. I taste a lovely bitter base of hops, giving the beer a fruity richness. Lovely. I also taste a strong yeast flavor, familiar from the Belgian beers. I love it. A Belgian ale with a lovely hoppy twist.
