Lucifer entered the market in the early 1980s under the label of the Riva brewery. It was an extension to the popular segment of strong, blond beers. In 2009, brewery Het Anker obtained the right to brew and commercialize Lucifer. Lucifer is a strong, blond beer (8.0%) with a gold yellow color and creamy white head.
Its fruity aroma with subtle notes of bitter hops, followed by a long and perfectly balanced finish, will definitely seduce you!

Mooi goudkleurig bier. Sterk fruitige aromas echter de smaak valt toch tegen. Helaas geen Belgisch top bier.

330ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with very voluminous and persistent frothy white head and cascading bubbles. The aroma has plenty of clove and pear with perhaps a little banana. The taste has a grainy maltiness, distinct pear, clove, firm spicy bitterness in the finish. Light to medium bodied. Pretty decent.

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB 30/11/2017 Hazy blonde body, good sized white head. Good spicy aroma - clove, black pepper, nutmeg, cereal maltiness, ripe pear & amyl acetate esters. Body has a lively, creamy sort of carbonation, full but theres enough dryness to cut through to avoid it being overly rich or sweet. Pepper body. Sweet pale malts, pepper & clove & apricot & pear skin. Mild bitterness, drying finish. Reasonable Belgian blonde - devilishly easy drinking

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Bright golden coloured with a thick head of white foam. It has a sweet fruity and slight floral flavour followed by an earthy, herbal warming finish. Ok.

danlo (2798) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2016
330ml bottle from the Cheese & Wine shop, Darlington. Golden colour, frothy white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of banana, meringue, fruity, yeasty. Taste is grain, fruity & yeasty, sweetish, with a banana note, plus a little spice and some booze. Foamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy boozy finish. Nicely drinkable.

pityu (681) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 1, 2016
Bottle - Hazy deep golden colour, medium whithe head, good retention. Typical belgian ale aromas, some fruity esters, yeast, no hops. Taste is also typical belgian, quite boring. Medium body, moderate carbonation, a bit watery texture, yeasty finish. Not bad, just boring.

mcberko (16053) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 27, 2016
Bottle at PIB 2016, pours a hazy dull yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of Belgian yeast upfront, with lots of bubblegum and dry crackery malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with bubblegum and Belgian yeast in good harmony. Not overly complex but it works well.

Salmaneser (136) - BELGIUM - JUN 22, 2016
33 cl bottle @ home. Deep golden beer with medium white head. Hoppy aroma with a fresh citrus tint. Taste is sweet, with some malts and banana, and finishes with a mild bitter touch. Decent taste, but pitty the palate is a bit watery. Light version of Affligem.

SENSACIN: cuerpo medio ligero, mediana a alta carbonatacin. RESUMEN: una buena belgian ale, similar a la Duvel.
