Golden body. Sweet fruity aroma, with hints of spicy aroma. Warming alcohol taste. Marstonlad (884) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2012
Bottle from Budapest. Pours hazy straw-yellow with a medium-sized white head. Aroma has hayish maltiness, yeast and notes of herbs. Taste is crisp and a bit tart. Malts and hops are well balanced; notes of hay, citrus and yeast. A little sharp mouthfeel and a medium body. The finish has grapefruit and herbal hop flavour. A decent Belgian beer. mcmisko (358) - New York, USA - NOV 1, 2012
Smells like hops and line, taste is sticky, honey sweet with hop taste but no bitterness. Some spice too, clove. Pleasant stuff. monk191 (1975) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 24, 2012
A below average Belgian style. Pours a slightly golden color, with a lot, maybe too much head. Took 10 minutes before we could drink it. Not much smell, like a Sweeter Coors. Taste is very much the same, although it's thicker and creamier then it looks. Nothing sticks out. Had in the bottle.

330ml bottle. Pours light gold with a medium head. Aroma is light lemon and candy sugars. Taste is sweet to start with a straw finish. Prickly carbonation.

Tried this on tap at Lucky Pie in Denver, CO. Great Belgian strong ale, Belgian yeast aroma and flavor, nice mouth feel.

There is some trace of the higher alcohol content here, but it was not distracting or overpowering at all. I think the fact that the flavor was so mellow was a bit of a disappointment...no "WOW" factor. but this was still an enjoyable beer. Hazy yellow-gold with a large, foamy, white head....long lasting with a lot of lace.
Scent is light pear, yeast.
Taste is slightly herbal, with pear, banana....
Some tart-on the verge of sour tones, yet still sweet overall....depends on the way you sip it.
Not a great one, but pretty good overall. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Bottle. Has a lot of the sweetness that most belgian style beers have, but it is balanced well to cut the sweetness. Fairly nice. jbruner (4734) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with a frothy white head and good lacing. Aroma of funky belgian yeast, grassy hops, and slight lemony citrus. Taste is a lot of the grassy qualities with hints of the other smells. Pretty good, but not great.
