COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucifer entered the market in the early 1980s under the label of the Riva brewery. It was an extension to the popular segment of strong, blond beers. In 2009, brewery Het Anker obtained the right to brew and commercialize Lucifer.

Lucifer is a strong, blond beer (8.0%) with a gold yellow color and creamy white head.
Its fruity aroma with subtle notes of bitter hops, followed by a long and perfectly balanced finish, will definitely seduce you!

Pours a hazy to cloudy colour of a potato chips bag. Plenty of foam, especially when you first open the bottle. Belgian yeast, candi sugar, caramel malt, fruity hops with a tinge of tartness. Yeasty taste. Some candi sugar, fruity light tartness, kinda hoppy. Smell is superior to taste but it is still quite drinkable. Fairly light bodied with light carbonation despite all that foam. Dated April 23rd 2014. Best by or bottled on?

the aroma is fruity and malty with hints of sweet orange, garden berries, yeast, vanilla and sweet wine... the taste is fruity and malty with notes of orange, apple, candy, dessert wine, tangerine and some spices... sweet, dry and bitter aftertaste...

Since moving to Utah, almost every Belgium beer I pour has an uncontrollable head. Unsure if it is an altitude thing, or maybe how it is shipped/stored - as Utah has the weird alcohol laws. Pours with a large head, and a darker-straw like color. Aroma is yeasty with a bit of pepper and clove. Taste is clove, pear, yeast...maybe a bit bubblegum. Coats the mouth. Low carbonation. It is good...but not too memorable. It won’t crack my list as a go to Belgium

The beer has a nice but simple look. The color of he beer is a nice golden yellow. The beer is rather clear. On top of the beer a nice layer of white foam is formed. The smell is nice. It has array fresh fruity hop aroma. It’s way more hoppy than most Belgian ales. The beer smells of citrus fruits and zest. There is a mellow sweet malt aroma. The balance is lovely. I like this fruitiness and freshness in a beer. The taste is great. I taste a lovely bitter base of hops, giving the beer a fruity richness. Lovely. I also taste a strong yeast flavor, familiar from the Belgian beers. I love it. A Belgian ale with a lovely hoppy twist.

Mooi goudkleurig bier. Sterk fruitige aroma’s echter de smaak valt toch tegen. Helaas geen Belgisch top bier.

330ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with very voluminous and persistent frothy white head and cascading bubbles. The aroma has plenty of clove and pear with perhaps a little banana. The taste has a grainy maltiness, distinct pear, clove, firm spicy bitterness in the finish. Light to medium bodied. Pretty decent.

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB 30/11/2017 Hazy blonde body, good sized white head. Good spicy aroma - clove, black pepper, nutmeg, cereal maltiness, ripe pear & amyl acetate esters. Body has a lively, creamy sort of carbonation, full but there’s enough dryness to cut through to avoid it being overly rich or sweet. Pepper body. Sweet pale malts, pepper & clove & apricot & pear skin. Mild bitterness, drying finish. Reasonable Belgian blonde - devilishly easy drinking

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Bright golden coloured with a thick head of white foam. It has a sweet fruity and slight floral flavour followed by an earthy, herbal warming finish. Ok.
