Bottle shared during Scopey’s 5K tasting - Croydon, London. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Kind of odd stuff, some dry pale bread in the aroma, a bit of citrus, hay. Bottle shared at Scopey’s 5000th rate. Clear straw with a white rim. Nose is huge lemon and biscuit. Kind of one dimensional. Taste is lemon biscuit, touch zesty. Just boring Scopey (15281) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2014
Bottle shared at my 5K tasting. It pours clear amber with a medium beige head. The nose is earthy, musty, grain, cat litter and mild fruitiness. The taste is doughy, grain, earth, faint citrus, spice and light bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty so-so stuff unfortunately.
