Tasted on 7/10/14 from a capped 11.16oz Buddha-shaped bottle purchased at Minks outside of Atlanta. Pours hazy pale golden with am average white head that leaves fairly thick lace. The nose is skunky with some sweet caramel malt. The flavor is the same with an added lightly bitter note. The body is light with lively fizzy carbonation and a short skunky corny finish. Not very good.

Every beer is easily distinguishable by its unique label. There are relatively few breweries however, which go to the trouble of making the bottle the distinguishing feature. Lucky Buddha, which is brewed in China at the Thousand Island Lake, is a very mild lager with a singular crisp and refreshing taste. It doesnt hold its head, but it certainly keeps its flavour, right from the first sip to the last. The colour is a very pale hue of gold and looking closely at the the ornate glass it was served in above, it could easily have been mistaken for whisky. Rest assured however, the taste is unmistakably that of a lager. I had Lucky Buddha on its own, but I suspect itd be a great beer to compliment a range of foods, particularly spicy dishes. www.fintansbrewbook.com

Yeah yeah I have to admit that it is a cool bottle. My girlfriend said: oooh look that one was cool. Me: ehhhh hmm. New brewery and a tick. So I am glad she bought one. The first and last time that stuff will enter my body. She ended most of the liquid inside bottle. Both happy. My goodness it was close to water. Some grainy notes. I had it very cold. Would not dear to try it a bit tempered.

Bottle 33 cl. Very light and neutral pilsner. Nothing more than a green Tuborg or Carlsberg. Could be refreshing on a could summer day, but nothing noteworthy.

Bottle with Thai street food. Mostly just your average pale lager, though the rice grain cuts in well to stop it being entirely bland.

The outward appearance of the Buddha might suggest an "other-worldly" aspect to this otherwise lifeless and utterly unremarkable offering. I would hesitate to renounce it completely, due to the highly decorative bottle and afore-mentioned connection to the spirit realm. Unless you are a collector of unique glassware or have a crippled palate with absolutely no sense of direction, I heartily recommend you avoid this beverage in its entirety.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated body transparent weak straw yellow colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was grassy. The thin mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong grassy aftertaste. The horrible flavor contained notes of grass. A horrible one that I would rather not drink again.
