COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Bucketís Original American IPA begins with a nice malt bill that lets the brew stand up to the mountain of hops added later. After the boil, the hot wort (the beer before itís really beer) is fired through a hop back, a unique four-barrel stainless steel tank filled with a gratuitous amount of raw flower Amarillo, Centennial, and Cascade hops, extracting the aromatic oils and flavor of the hops. Followed with additional dry hopping in the fermenter, the end result is a big, well-balanced West Coast-style IPA with terrific hop flavor and aroma.

Good hop character that is still well balanced and subtle notes can still come through.

Deep copper coloured copper coloured body thatís fully clear with a large, five centimetre tall slightly off-white head. Aroma of rye, malt, toasted malt, grain, alcohol and a bit of hay with some noticeable hop elements throughout. Medium-bodied; Assertive flavours of grain and rye, especially with some nuts, earth, caramelised sugars and malt noticeable coupled with the lighter alpha acid hops. Aftertaste shows some robust flavours with mostly malt flavours, a little sugars and a touch of hops. Overall, a nice IPA for Nebraska, and one to try if you can find it - a good East Coast IPA thatís from west of the Mississippi! I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from the Class VI Liqour Store on Offutt AFB in Omaha, Nebraska on 26-October-2016 for US$8,99/six pack sampled at home in Washington on 01-September-2016 after working a long time at a big building in Arlington, Virginia.

Hazy orange pour. Initial notes of citrus. You can tell this has a nice blend of hops, and the finish is rather smooth for an IPA.

Pleasant well balanced IPA. Nice copper colour, but no appreciable head. Good hop flavor but bottle was served so cold that the malt profile was lost. Definitely a keeper.
