COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Bucket’s Original American IPA begins with a nice malt bill that lets the brew stand up to the mountain of hops added later. After the boil, the hot wort (the beer before it’s really beer) is fired through a hop back, a unique four-barrel stainless steel tank filled with a gratuitous amount of raw flower Amarillo, Centennial, and Cascade hops, extracting the aromatic oils and flavor of the hops. Followed with additional dry hopping in the fermenter, the end result is a big, well-balanced West Coast-style IPA with terrific hop flavor and aroma.

pours hazy amber. head fades to a thick lingering film. nose is sticky pine resin, lemon rind, citrus fruits, soapy flowers. Flavor is similar hop character, some bready, toasty, and biscuity malt flavors along with the soapy lemony hops. Ok beer but not the great clean citrus or fruity IPA.

Elegant orange color. Classic grapefruit IPA aroma. Nice sweet and hoppy flavors. Good little IPA from a brewery wisely located on Centennial Road :)

Given past experiences with this brewer, I was expecting this to be complete garbage juice - thankfully, I am pleasantly surprised - it is a bit overly sweet, but the sweetness is clean and does not keep the pine and citrus intensity of the hops from shining here - there is a light gingerbread note that also adds an interesting dimension - decent.

Pours a hazy orange with a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of candied orange, light caramel and pine. Flavor of sweet orange notes, other citrus, pine and floral notes. Decent caramel malt profile.

Poured from a bottle. Hazy orange copper with foamy off white head. Aroma is tropical fruit with some caramel malt. Nice balance of sweet and bitter. Body is just on the light side; a little oily and slick. Nice refreshing IPA.

Found floating around in the back of the fridge, a leftover from the last Richmond Gathering, probably from Tia? In any case, thanks! Poured a medium orange amber with a crazy amount of protein floaties, decent head. Aroma was citric and pine hops, some caramel. Flavor matched. Decent balance. A bit light in some ways, getting close to an APA. Not bad, just not very exciting either.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a hazy dark orange with lots of chunks floating in the glass. Not very appealing to look at but at least I know this beer is unfiltered. Aroma of tropical fruit with just the slightest hint of pine. A little caramel malt thrown in there as well adding some depth. Tropical fruit and pine up front on the flavor but it doesn’t linger as long as I would like. Some dark bread and toffee round out the malt side and it is fairly well balanced. Moderate bitterness and a slightly sticky finish. Overall, a solid but not overly impressive IPA. There is just not the depth of flavor that I am looking for.

Best IPA that I have ever had! Great aroma and flavor. Can’t believe that it took me this long to try it.

Draft in Omaha. Poured a honey color. Lighter head. Nice floral citrus hop aroma. Pineapples. Medium bitterness. Citrus and fruit taste with hops. Pineapple, grapefruits. Smooth but potent bitter finish. Well done

Bottle from Yamaichi. Light caramel maltiness over a substantial citrus, with some rusty notes. Dark orange/brown color. Good typical IPA initial, with maybe more balance than normal throughout, moderate grapefruit notes. Medium body. Not an overthetopper at all. Perhaps a session IPA.
