12 oz bottle purchased at the brewery, poured into a pint glass at home. Light bronze, clear appearance with a frothy, lasting white head, looks good. Aroma of toasted grains, bready malts, earthy hops and light caramel. Similar flavor, mildly sweet and lightly bitter, easy to drink. Medium body, creamy feel with average carbonation. Pretty good for a lager. BillKismet (4064) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2014
Brassy copper body with a thin, but firm head. feint sawdust grain nose. Fruity body with a distinct punchy component. Drake (13742) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 13, 2014
12 ounce bottle from Libation Station. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toasted malts, grassy hops and a mild fruitiness. The taste is dry caramel malts, tea, mild stone fruits, grassy hops. Thin-medium bodied. Decent. BeerandBlues2 (13355) - Escondido, California, USA - FEB 13, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours crystal clear amber with a medium, bubbly and frothy off-white head, medium-light retention with spotty lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malt, hint of honey and biscuit malt, medium earthy and spicy hops, and no off aromas. Flavor is bitter hops, lightly tart, toasted malt with some biscuit character, lightly vegetal, earthy hops and a dry finish. Medium-light body and medium carbonation. UPDATED: MAY 10, 2014 Definitely a letdown. While it’s ordinarily futile to have high expectations for these types of beer, they still can be fun. Sadly, this one didn’t have a lot to offer. The taste is even enough, but it’s underwhelming. This beer claims to have a lot of hops but they’re positively tame on the tongue and virtually nonexistent in the aroma. If you want to enjoy a "Pre-Prohibition Lager," Coors does it better with Batch 19. It pains me to say that about a beer from my home state, but there it is.

On tap at Beertopia. Pour is clear amber with a big white head and great lacing. Cereal, grainy, bready, corny, grassy aroma. Taste is plain lager, light grassy, bread, biscuit, cereal, husky, and grainy. Light body with high carbonation. Bleh. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 26, 2013
Gold pour, white head. Typical lager flavors with a touch more hops than the macro crap. I detected a very grassy flavor with tropical fruits on the edges. triplehopped (65) - - AUG 13, 2013
Pours a deep gold with a small white head (very much like Cream Soda). Aroma is lightly malty with a hint of citrus. Fizzy and light bodied, finished lightly bitter-sweet yet clean. Taste is lightly bitter sweet, crisp. Overall, unimposing and light. A pleasant lager but left me wanting more. TimE (5827) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JUL 24, 2013
Copper color. Very light nose, some caramel notes. Very weak. Light weak body lacking hops and not so well balanced. Non distinguished and boring. notalush (5878) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Bottle - fizzy, clear dark copper - nose of copper, grain husks, light DMS and a mild sourness - not promising so far - prickly acidity up front, followed by some corn, husky grains, light butter, light sourness - metallic finish - terrible.
