COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Bucket Pre‐Prohibition Lager has an updated craft brewer’s twist as its signature: it’s dry‐hopped with a fresh blend of aromatic hops. The dry hopping schedule is a unique hop mix that was derived from numerous tests and private samplings. The resulting blend includes aromatic Cascade, Centennial and Amarillo hops.

KyotoLefty (10207) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 7, 2012
Draught. Amber-orange with a fine, low head. Malty nose, a bit of caramel like in Vienna malt, some citrus hop. Fruity, grainy caramel flavor, a bit sweet. Drinkable and nice, but not special.

Bottle. Deep golden color. Flavor is of good balance leaning to the malt side. Aroma is the usual lager aroma but a tad more pleasant. This is actually a better tasting the normal lager.

12 oz bottle. Another ’beer of the month’ beer. (ugh, lagers...) Pours a light bronze color with no head. Smells of malt, water, drop hops. Tastes of malt, kind of a dark lager body, but no real character to it...

nice dark amber color, slight aroma mild taste with a bit of a hay smell. Mild flavor medium carbonation

Amber-gold pour. Not much aroma. Not much flavor either. Brewer’s description claims "aromatic" - far from it. The fourth and most disappointing selection from the beer of the month club. Probably time to cancel.

queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Bottle. Grainy malt and lactic aroma. Amber with a moderate off-white head. Grainy malt, lactic sour, and light bitter flavor. Not really all that pleasant. Light body and carbonation.

2.6
shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Bottle. Lactic barley malt and hay aroma. Amber with moderate head. Light barley malt and moderately bitter herbal flavor. A bit rough.

Tmoney99 (14374) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus and earthy aroma. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Complex soft brew.

deyholla (11505) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 19, 2012
On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a lot of hay and earthy grains with some corn and grass. Flavor has corn and grains with a bit of underlying hay.

Dark gold pour with a thin foamy head. Something might be off here. Aroma is maly, grainy and slightly acetic/vinegary. Flavour is tart, getting a fair amount of vinegar which shouldn't be...carbonation seems more effervescent than what I would consider normal. Will consider a re-rate if I can find a single some time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
