Lucky Bucket Pre‐Prohibition Lager has an updated craft brewer’s twist as its signature: it’s dry‐hopped with a fresh blend of aromatic hops. The dry hopping schedule is a unique hop mix that was derived from numerous tests and private samplings. The resulting blend includes aromatic Cascade, Centennial and Amarillo hops.

Bottle - 355ml. Heavily carbonated, amber body with a thin, fading, off-white foamy/bubbly head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with toasty hints. Its thin malty/hoppy taste carries bready, toasty, and some sweet notes. Ends with a short bittersweet finish. Ordinary.

12 oz bottle shared by from backlog notes. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale grainy malts, sweet cereal malts, mineral notes, grass, really these are more mild, not much to get excited about.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy medium orange/amber/light copper color with a small dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, toasted biscuit, brown bread, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of bready malt and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A bit fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Flavors of cracker, toasted biscuit, brown bread, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, toasted biscuit, brown bread, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Fairly clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a nice lager. All around nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, clean, and refreshing to drink. Feels a bit more like a Vienna lager. Nice clean malty flavor, with just enough hops to balanced the sweetness. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Draft at Local Kitchen, Omaha, NE.
Copper in color that is see through. Aroma is corn and sweet malts. Taste is sweet malt, corn, and yeast. Where are the hops?? I can not get them in the aroma or flavor.

Medium bodied with soft carbonation and sryupy texture. Easy enough to drink but I was hoping for a little bit of hops.

Thanks Greg (gregwilson) for sending this my way and getting me a NE tick! Wonderfully bland -- there’s a vague, light sweet butter flavor and that’s about it. It’s a craft lager (it even has a badge on the label that just says "American Craft Brewery") just a really dull one. With that said, though, I split it with my wife and she loved it...

Dark amber. Effervescent. Poured in a Sam Adams glass, it looks like Sam Adams lager. Thx Arp for leaving this with me. Nothing great, nothing bad....nice safe lager. Some maltiness.

Down the middle. Grainy, slightly sweet, mild Hop flavors. Pretty easy drinker.

Poured amber, no carbonation and no foam. Not really usual golden as other premium lagers have, but well, I guess lagers are still different. Aroma had some caramel and brisk malty grain character. Quite subtle. Taste caramelly, sort of what I could already understand from the colour. Otherwise quite watery body, simple and highly drinkable - word I am using not to say characterless. Volume beer, not bad but well, just not that interesting, had much better stuff from this brewery before.

This one had an odd metallic aftertaste. Maybe I had a bad batch or something.
