Dark amber. Effervescent. Poured in a Sam Adams glass, it looks like Sam Adams lager. Thx Arp for leaving this with me. Nothing great, nothing bad....nice safe lager. Some maltiness. thepatrickman (1503) - Lewes, East Sussex, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2016
Thanks Greg (gregwilson) for sending this my way and getting me a NE tick! Wonderfully bland -- there’s a vague, light sweet butter flavor and that’s about it. It’s a craft lager (it even has a badge on the label that just says "American Craft Brewery") just a really dull one. With that said, though, I split it with my wife and she loved it... alexsdad06 (11242) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - AUG 29, 2017
12 oz bottle shared by from backlog notes. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale grainy malts, sweet cereal malts, mineral notes, grass, really these are more mild, not much to get excited about. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 11, 2010
Thanks jdubfl for the share. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose is bread, corn, sweetness and a tiny amount of hops. Flavor is similar with water, hops, and sweetness. Light bodied and not bad overall. drewbeerme (3921) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 23, 2010

Darker gold with white head and visible carbonation. Malty nose but I also smell something akin to rotten fruit (very very faint), or could it be a Bret influence?. There is a toasty malt flavor, almost dry flavor upon first taste. It’s almost smokey and a bit odd, although I can appreciate this unique twist. Some citrus/lemon flavor (the hops?). Doesn’t really go together but separate it makes an interesting experience. Given you don’t drink flavors in silo’s I find this a bit of a confusing beer. Upon further tasting, this really does seem to have a bit of a sour Bret side to it. Not sure what to make of that interpretation. JAF737300 (1291) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2011
POurs hazy straw with sweet notes of malt that show off very light hints of hops. It drinks smooth and has a flavor from the malt that seems distracting. Better than your mass lagers. zvikar (6575) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - JUN 30, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2013 Beer of the month club, pours golden with a nice white head aroma seems sour, like vinegar, fruit and malt, flavor is sour with flavor of cauliflower, this one is probably infected, light bodied, should taste it again[.2.4] deyholla (12590) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 19, 2012
On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a lot of hay and earthy grains with some corn and grass. Flavor has corn and grains with a bit of underlying hay. ThreeCats (1014) - ISRAEL - FEB 7, 2013
hazy honey color with a small dense head. Aroma of sour grapes or apples, some yeast, some malt. Taste of light caramel with a very pronounced tart "twang". Bitter-sour palate. I like sour beers, so I got along well with this one, but I think it might be spoiled a bit. Or at least if the tartness is intentional it’s a unique interpretation of the style.
