Bottle. A- Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, spices. A- Dark copper color, clear liquid, white head. T- Cinnamon, nutmeg, spices. P- Medium body, average texture, medium carbonation, abrupt finish. O- The bottle calls it an Abbey Ale but this is more like a Winter Warmer to me. Whatever, its still good. Packed with lots of cinnamon and spices. I was hoping for a longer finish but it disappeared quite fast. Lucky Bucket did alright here.

Not impressive at all. Should have gotten my first clue in the pour, virtually no carbonation, looks like a flat cola. Aroma is fruity, banana, citrus, etc. Taste is overwhelmingly spices, nutmeg, ginger with hints of citrus. Finish is slightly bitter. This would have been better off a baked good than a beer, not recommended.

Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Nose is quite spicy, with cinnamon, nutmeg, and other indeterminate etc. Dark amber color, slick. Thin medicinal initial flavor, herbal and lightly sweet. All quite mild. Thin, smooth, slick body. Quite a mix of spices (maybe too many?), most of which cancel each other out rather than complementing the malt.

Bottle from Hy Vee in Omaha, NE. I try to support the local brewers but this one I probably wont get again.... seemed very flat. Very high nutmeg, not much hop, tastes a little watered down... just OK. The beer I had before this was a solud IPA, so maybe that threw everything off...

Poured a slightly dark, slightly translucent orange color with a small fluffy white head. Aroma was light roasted pepper, no heat, just some of the fruit with a touch of light sweet malts. Flavor was subtle heat, some pleasant pepper notes with a malty finish

I like the idea of a Belgian-style Winter brew, and there are some components here that work very nicely. I enjoy the citrus, cardamom, cinnamon and banana. Not a lot from the other spices, though. Light body and mellow aroma. This could be awesome. Its okay.

Draft at Suttrees. Clear copper, with a ring of foam. Smells herbal and a wee bit medicinal. Taste is sweet, with a bit of clove and nutmeg. Maybe a bit of cinnamon. Flavors are kinda muted, though. Not a spice bomb.

I bit too spicy for my tastes. Lots of nutmeg and a hint of cinnamon. Body is mild with a mellow finish.

Tastes fine and all, just nothing mind blowing. Banana, Clove and spices dominate this beer.
