Bottle:   Traditional example.   Cinnamon and nutmeg from start to finish.   Feels a little sweaty.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Mild sweetness, lingering spices.   Fairly clean otherwise.   Seems like one you might think of as a tradtional pumpkin ale.   Nothing bad nor great, pretty much middle of the road example. Bottle purchased in MI. Clear orange pour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, spice and pumpkin. Malty flavor with real pumpkin with a bit of spice and sweetness before a thin and watery finish. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 26, 2015
12oz bottle, from the Woodstock Wine & Cheese, purchased 2 weeks ago. First pumpkin beer of the season for me... Mostly clear orange color, with some fine particles suspended in the body. Thin off-white head, leaving a few loose bits and ridges of lace. Kind of a citrusy fruity type flavor, mild spice, some suggestion of gourd, not sure if I get any explicit pumpkin. Not bad though. Lighter to medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light dry finish. Easy-sipping, though with a mildly spicy edge. Moderate bitter taste, lighter sweet, kinda dry. Solid. But I’ve kinda been feeling the itch, you know? Would I be this open-minded come September, knee-deep into pumpkin beer hell? Mark_Eck (1998) - - JUL 10, 2015

bottle. Deep golden with one finger head. Very light body with some hints of pumpkin and spice. Better than their IPA, but this is weak.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/2/2015. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, toast, biscuit, herbal, grass, and herbal/spice earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of big pumpkin/spice and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, toast, biscuit, herbal, grass, and herbal/spice earthiness. Fair amount of earthy spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, toast, biscuit, herbal, grass, and herbal/spice earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity and robustness of pumpkin/spice and moderate bready malt flavors; with a good malt/spice flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected for 4.8%. Overall this is a nice and pleasant session pumpkin ale. Good balance and robustness of pumpkin/spice and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering. Pour from a 12oz bottle. Clear pale amber with fizzy white head, good head retention. Aroma is pumpkin pie spice, lemon grass, taste is sweet nd maybe pumpkin-ish at the start, some tart citrus / lemon notes emerging, with a rather heavy handed spicy finish. I’m not too keen on the style to start with and this one seems to emphasize the elements that I like the least, though for people who love spices this could be a winner.
