On tap at the brewery. Listed as Blue Dog Amber. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A light earthy caramel nose some floral hops. The flavor is similar: biscuit, earthy, some caramel and light apricot. Decent.

Draught. Poured dark amber with thick white head. Beers from Lucky Labrador always look good. Restrained hop aroma, there was a bit of chocolate, but perhaps too restrained. Flavour was good, malt and hop in well balance, with n bietjie chocolate. Long hop finish.

Tap at Lucky Lab, Hawthorne PDX, 26/05/13. Very dark amber with a thin off white head. Nose is malt forward, caramel notes, sugars, light hops. Taste comprises caramel malt, biscuit, light treacel, sugars, touch of hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Drinkable but not one Id revisit, comes over as a hoppy ESB.

Tastes of bitter hops, a bit of chocolate afterwards. Faint citrus, roasted malts, a little sweet. Hi carbonation, medium-thick mouthfeel. Pretty good for a pale ale. On tap at the Lucky Lab. Pours amber. Smells of toasty malts, hops, like a pale ale but no citrus notes.

On NITRO at BrewPub Portland OR, Pours out a dark amber topped with a cream head. A little odd I picked up some sweet candy on it. Along with a good amount of wheat.

This is a great ale. The flavors where a good mix between malts and hops. Had a nice Hoppy taste in the end and it gave off a great overall drinking ability. Good Beer.

This was a decent little pale ale, not fantastic, slightly imbalanced, but easy to drink with some nice acidic grapefruit tones, some grass and bready notes, with a bit of a bite on the finish. Not bad.
