Tap at the brewpub. Clear amber pour with a tight white head. Grain and apple sweetness. Not sure where the bitter is. This is just okay.

rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 5, 2015
Draught at the Lucky Labrador Beer Hall, Portland, OR.
Clear amber colour with a tiny off-white head. Mild sweetness, malt, mild apples and some hops in the aroma. Mild malty sweetness, some hops and mild bitterness in the flavour. Watery.

Theydon_Bois (19189) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2013
Tap at Lucky Lab, Hawthorne PDX, 26/05/13. Hazed dark amber with a thin off white head. Nose is light hops, caramel, bitter orange. Taste comprises light sugars, malt, orange pith, touch of hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, some hop and bitter presence in the finish. Decent enough ESB - American style - ie more hops than there needs to be !

bhensonb (15077) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 11, 2009
Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Fruity malt aroma. Medium body with mild carbonation. Light roast caramel and lots of floral hop. Finishes lightly bitter and floral with lasting roast caramel. Very nice. Rather English.

stchloe (1017) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 22, 2009
Not the strongest bitter. More of an ale body, too sweet of a body and aftertaste. Some bittering in the end, but not enough for a proper ESB.

killjoy966 (677) - Washington, USA - APR 19, 2009
Tastes more like a pale ale than a bitter. Lovely hop aroma. Fairly drinkable, but my colleagues disagreed. Tasty, but not a traditional bitter.

anders37 (26137) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 29, 2008
Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a small white head. Has a malty hoppy floral aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty hoppy floral flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish with some hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

BiddleBrau (1219) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2008
Light copper/amber with thin white head. This had a musty aroma, strange. Hop flavor prominent overpowering malt profile.

BuckeyeBoy (7509) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 9, 2008
On tap at BrewPub Portland OR, Pours out a hazy gold/amber topped with a cream head. Aroma of wood and malts. Tast of raisons more of the malt and wood also. A nice ESB.
