Tap at the brewpub. Clear golden pour with a minor white head. Very minimal aroma. Hint of rye in the taste and a soft palate. Not exciting. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 6, 2015
Tap at the brewpub. Nice enough, easy drinking, with just a little rye funk. Bit fruity.

Only a hint of rye comes through. Otherwise fairly meh, like a wannabe pale ale. anders37 (26824) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 29, 2008
Draft @ the brepub. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a sweetish malty grainy caramel aroma. Sweetish malty grainy rye flavor with some weak hoppy hints. Has a malty grainy finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Ungstrup (38139) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2008
Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of grass, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Sour rye in the nose. Medium-light bodied with some subtle caramel and some tangy rye. Interesting but not outstanding beer. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 17, 2007
Last stop in Portland during ABA Beer Tour 07. On draught at the brewpub as "Bike Route Rye" pours a semi-hazy golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head. Aroma of multi-grain malt, sweet fruity apple/pear, with a touch of herbal hops. Taste is well carbonated, medium bodied with a fruity bread flavor. Finish is still well carbonated with some dry citrus aftertaste. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - NOV 10, 2006
I really enjoy rye ales and this one was excellent. Very fruity up front with a great rye backing, then finishing with a great floral citrus hop end. Very refreshing throughout the whole brew, easy to drink, and not overly aggressive on the palate with to much hops. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 24, 2006
tap at the brewpub - Pours yellow with a one finger head. The malt and rye aroma was mild but pretty good. The flavor matched the malt and rye as well as the light overall tone of this beer. It was too thin on the palate, but had a crisp finish. BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 4, 2006
Odd aroma and flavour. Some spice in the nose and body but a cardboard like flavour on the quick finish.
