Tap at the brewpub. Reddish orange pour. Sweet malt nose. More mineral and chemical, like the whole lineup. Meh. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 21, 2015
On tap @ Lucky Labrador. Amber colored pour with a white head. Mostly caramel and brown sugar. Slight pool water thing to the nose. There’s a lot of grass, some apple peel, and creme brûlée. The flavor is quite sweet and sugar forward. A big time caramel and brown sugar thing. Slight hoppy bitterness, but not a whole lot of balance. troopie (2341) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - MAY 31, 2010
Draught. A very red beer. Thin white head. Moderate lacing. Something of a winey note in the flavour. A slight but pleasing finish. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2009

Aroma: Nice malt with a light hops aroma.
Appearance: Amber in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Nice malt with a light hops addition this was a slick and easy drinking beer.
Palate: Dry finish with a very good overall Mouthfeel.
Overall: A very nice brew with a good flavor. Great for the hot hard work in the yard days.
Thick and malty. Deep rich color, slightly alcoholic aftertaste. Satisfying. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 22, 2008
On tap at Lucky Lab off Hawthorne--Poured a thin amber body with a frothy white head. Lots of caramel and creaminess. Very English with signature bold hops indicative of LL beers. Not as hoppy as most, but with a biting acidity in the end. Very much like Green Lakes Organic ale from Deschutes. Also quite biscuity and fruity. Good stuff. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JAN 2, 2006
Great appearance and aroma, flavor is bready and watery, like drinking a last meal. Kind of disappointing. Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 10, 2005
Amber red hue with a foamy head and big spots of lace. Caramel malts in the nose with floral hops. Some orange citrus and bitterness as well. Soapy and bitter hop flavors with orange peels and toasted biscuits. Bitter tail with a fuzzy palate.

Amber, clear with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malts, some fruit and hops. I thought it was a little thin and could have had some more maltiness for balance, finishes hoppy.
