On tap at the brewpub.
Golden amber brew - nose of caramel malt, pine, and citrus. Some biscuit malt as well. Finishes with lots of bitterness.
Tap at brewery. Underwhelmingly average. Malt forward. Piney, earthy hops. Im over trying to rate this. Blade86 (1427) - Wroc³aw, POLAND - AUG 10, 2016
golden, hazy, big off-white foam; caramel, citruses, peach?, pine; high- bitterness, medium- sweetness; medium+ body, oily feel, lively carbonation, long bitter finish;
Overall: intense aroma and taste, well-made, great IPA JorisPPattyn (10121) - BELGIUM - APR 24, 2016
Tremendous build-up of yellowish, dense foam, leaving lots of lace over hazy orange beer. Very cheesy hops, bit of citrus(peel), pine. Some caramel in the background. Bitter-piney flavour, spruce or other conifer. Resiny as few. Very light cheesiness remaining in the flavour. Wry, dry-out effect. Medium bodied, very carbonated. If the intention was to give an impression from the Oregon pinewoods, mission accomplished. But a bit more drinkability might have turned out beneficial. Lab Beer Hall, Portland. ABV indicated as 6,7%. Slightly cloudy, deep golden color, off-white head. Aromatic hoppy flavor with medicinal notes and aniseed. Full body, medium carbonation. Good.
65cl Bottle from drankgigant.nl. Age unknown. Gusher. Murky orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, plastic, orange, herbal stuff. Flavour is medium sweet, bitter, yeasty, plastic, some citrus, bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Not very good (anymore?). mariuspoenari (3180) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - DEC 14, 2015
Orange-amber pour, huge head that lasts quite a while. Pine and citrus in the nose. The taste follows through, with citrus (bitter grapefruit, mostly) and pine easily identifiable, on top of a caramel-sweet backbone. Bitter-sweet finish, somewhat dry (which is a plus from me). Not a super complex beer, but I don’t think it should be. BVery (11461) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 9, 2015
Tap at the brewpub. First drinkable beer of the 6 I’ve tried so far. Very overrated here, though. Nice citrusy nose. Medium palate. Finish is a touch unbalanced but not terrible. commonmac (1370) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 13, 2015
Tap at Luc Lac in Portland. Skinny bowling pin glass. Deep coppery color with off white head and nice lacing. Aroma has bitter citrus characteristics with a piney hop presence. Taste follows suit leaning on a bitter citrus rind and hops. Almost overly bitter with minimal sweetness. Missing the rounded mouthfeel of other IPAs. Not one of my favorites but the location was awesome. mateuszk (2769) - Poznań, POLAND - JUL 31, 2015
Bottle. Aroma of tropical fruits and resin, low intensive with solid malty back. In taste sweet with resiny flavours, medium bodied with grapefruit bitterness. Decent, as almost always with american beers would nice to get fresh one.
