Fresh Hop version: A lightly hazed dark amber ale with with a thin off white head. In aroma, classic caramel malt with a good dose of floral c-hops, piney and smooth. In mouth, a crisp and dry biscuit malt with dry puckering British hops, lingering, a b it harsh but overall, OK. On tap at brewpub at Hawthorne, Oct. 7 2012. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 27, 2008
Tap @ Green Dragon... Poured amber with an off-white head. Strong hops on the nose. Nice dry hops with a caramel presence. Delicious hops through out the whole drink and sort of a woodsy finish that was a bit earthy. Ungstrup (37606) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2008
Draft. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and malt as well as light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and the body is thin. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 15, 2007
Pouring at the Oregon Fresh Hops Festival--Poured a light orange-golden-amber color with a thin, wispy white head. Nose of grassy, fruity hops and mildly sweet grains. Taste was a peculiar hoppiness with sweet maltiness in the finish. Overall, however, the finish was thin and somewhat watery. Skunky and funky as can be. Not one of my favorite fresh hop brews, but okay. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - OCT 6, 2007
Lucky Lab and fresh hop sounded great, but I found myself not enjoying this beer and wondering why. I haven’t found many beers from the LL in the past that I haven’t liked. This beer was so light and watery, I know the subtleness was to amplify the fresh hop flavor, but the hop profile of this tasted funky, touch of cat pee. Overall the wateriness of this was overwhelming, no body, very mild wet hop sweetness. Just not what the wet hop beers are about.

Draft: Pours a cloudy orange-bronze with a thin white head. Nice fresh hop aroma with some sweet malts in there. Flavor is lightly malty and semi-bitter with a nice big floral hop finish with a hint of those oily finish as it dries crisply on the tongue. Easy drinking and good but could have used even more fresh hops. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - OCT 15, 2006

A nice fresh hopped brew. This had a ton of different added hops. The beer was refreshing and had a malt balance with the hops that was very unique. I liked this beer a lot and loved the hops that added to the flavor. It was said it had 4 different hops used. Good stuff.
