Has a very minimal aroma. OKay appearance, dark brown, some head. Flavour is soft nut, some malt. Good on the mouth. Just okay, really - and rating 2300 on such an average brew!!!

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/1/2016. Amber with a decent, off-white head. Malty beer, with a slightly earthy edge, some hedgerow fruits and a decent, bitter finish. Good.

Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Semi dry. Light dry pale malts, grainy sweetness. Little lactose and a light tang. Very mild floral citrus on the backend. Dry finish. Grainy sweetness dominates here. Meh!

BlackHaddock (7956) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2014
Gravity pour, half-pint at the 2014 Bridgnorth Beer Festival. Clear amber in colour, weak white topping. Semi-sweet and fruity in both the nose and taste, very drinkable. Nice blend of flavours and well balanced brew, an old style bitter that is worth finding.
