GTAEgeek (2220) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 4, 2017
22 oz. bottle. Hazy, dark orange color, with a medium, persistent, off-white head. The aroma is orange pulp, walnuts, mushy bananas, and leather. The first note is sweet, but it quickly becomes off-dry, with a mellow bitterness and just a hint of sour. Light to medium body, chewy, thick, and fizzy. This is a really nicely done hefeweizen. Good yeast character and balance.

Tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is banana, light cloves and earthy wheat malt. Flavor is sweet banana, earthy wheat malt, light cloves and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Pours a light orange color with a citrus fruit aroma. Taste of apricot, peaches, and cloves within this beer. Light and refreshing beer, with a banana flavored aftertaste.

On tap. Dark golden color with one finger head. Clove aroma. The taste has clove too, but it is weak. Not a fan for the style.

malrubius (2902) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Bottle from Costco. Hazy golden copper with lasting head and lace. Aroma is heavy cloves and light banana and bubble gum. Medium to heavy peachy fruity sweetness with wheaty tang and spicy minerally bitterness. Medium body creamy. A little heavier and sweeter than I like my hefes, but fairly authentic. Not bad.

brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 26, 2014
On tap @ Lumberyard. Slightly hazed golden pour with a white head. A lot of banana and bready malt. Mild tang and a bunch of clove. Flavor is kind of sweet and candy like. A ton of taffy and cotton candy. Some bread, orange peel, and cloves. Slight bread. Okay.

madquacker (1143) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - AUG 30, 2014
Bubble gum and vanilla and a somewhat cloying sweetness is a bit over powering. Would prefer more wheat less of the bubble gum.

Ferris (15475) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 11, 2014
Draft - Banana and clove. Hazy pale yellow with a rich head. Banana, clove, spice and a very nice creaminess. Very good classic Hef.
