12oz can pours with a clear copper body that supports a tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up some pine hops, a bit of citrusy hops and then lightly roasted malts that are off in the background. Overall the aroma is pretty mild for the style. The taste starts with a dash of grapefruit citrus hops flavor and then it rolls into resiny citrus and pine hops. The base of malts is just about right for a classic Pale Ale with a mix of malt sweetness and a dash of lightly roasted malts. Pretty good.

Draft at the brewpub. Reasonably strong hop character, a little sweetness and strong hint of pine. Nice.

On draft at the brewery. Clear golden pour, with a white head. Bread, biscuit, some malty sweetness, citrus, and some fruit. Easy drinking pale ale.

12 oz single can from Total Wine & More - Gilbert, AZ. Golden to orange with a slight haze and a small, lingering beige head. Aroma of hops (pine, flowers, herbs), toasted malt and light potpourri. Similar flavor, adding mild to moderate hop bitterness and a light grainy sweetness. Light to medium body with ample carbonation, a clean feel and a lingering piney hop finish. Not bad.

Tap @ Angels Trumpet Ale House: Clear gold with a grassy light hop aroma. Easy to drinkwith a nice hop backbone without pushing the limits to an IPA.

5oz draft at brewery. Golden hue, minimal head. Pine/resin aroma and taste gives way to biscuit malts at the end. Really nice finish.

12 fl oz can, puchased at the brewery. Clear and bright dark golden in the glass, big head. Hopy fruity nose, mango. Taste has hopy bitterness, a lot of pine an resin and a present malty background. Hints of sweetness. Smooth and a little bit oily. Long finish. Very nice!

Remarkably smooth. It has a hint of dryness but the finishing smoothness is a nice difference from other pale ales ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the growler the pour is clear with a light amber color, the aroma is citrus and hops but very light, the taste is a good balance of hops and a little sweet an overall good pale ale

Bronze body, full rocky head. Amber malt aroma with some bitter Chinook-like notes. Similarly, the body is of moderate amber malts and moderately bitter Chinook-like hops with some pinyness to it. Peachy fruitiness on the finish.
