Sampled at the brewpub. It poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was wheaty, with bread, grain and yeast. The taste was of wheat grain, bread with good yeast notes, citrus peel and grapeskin like hops. Not bad. tmoreau (4745) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUL 12, 2012
On tap and shaker served at the brewpub, showing a hazed, golden color, a modest amount of white, bubbly head foam, and light waves & spots of lacing. The nose was a hint of wit yeast, lightly floral, light fruit, some lemon zest, and a touch of sweetness. Light to medium bodied and well carbonated, fair malt was present, but a sharp, rindy, earthy, and lingering hop bitterness dominated the flavor more than I would have liked, thus diminishing the sessionability for me. Alcohol presence was well hidden within. Somewhat similar to the Charlie’s Angel, except with a heftier noted abv.
