Just put on tap again at Lunar. Pint served, fairly clarified, deep amber pour, with a foamy, off white head, and good, sticking lace. Aroma had a very light hop profile, with a little sweet fruit, almost apricot on the nose, along with some breadiness and malt. Light malt, light bitterness, and a little soapiness were in the flavor. Light bodied, almost a little watery. If you are looking for balance,... it is light on light,... but not like previous versions that had more citrus tones and a stronger malt backbone. More of a light UK pale this time. holdenn (2116) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 31, 2008
On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy copper with a white head that laces down. Light nose of caramels, grapefruit, pine, and florals, Smooth carbonation. Caramels, pine, grapefruit and grass flavors. Lightly bitter but with a grass finish. A drinkable and enjoyable APA. Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - MAR 23, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2005 From the tap, this poured a glowing, hazy orange color with a lofty, rocky tan head. The aroma was a refreshing blend of orange, grapefruit, grassy and floral hops over a sweet malt scent. The taste was more of the same, smooth and easy to drink. It’s a truly well-blanced malt/hop relationship, as should be in an APA. Nice slightly bitter finish.
