330 ml bottle from Systembolaget, web order. Hazy dark brown with a medium sized egg-white head, leaving only some lacing. Malty aroma, with caramel and syrup. Light, mid-sweet and rounded mouthfeel, mildly carbonated. Sweet taste, caramel, syrup, apricot and grass. short finish, slightly flat taste.

Very spicy aroma, a bit cakey, some mixed peel, clove and cinnamon. Also a slightly salty sweaty funkiness, hinting at crotchiness. Light palate, almost water, pleasant carbonation. Deep brown, brief keggy head. Taste has the sweaty crotch from the aroma, but the spicing is tuned down nicely. Finish has a pleasant roast. No sign of any alcohol, it’s almost a glugger. A bit messy in places, but I enjoyed it all-in-all.
Rerate: 330ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki) (6:4:6:4:12=3.2)
Pleasant full brown ale aroma, definitely better as it warms. Taste similar, but with a dusty dirtiness. Bitter hopping moderate, gives it some character. Reminds me of my 45th birthday brew by Martin - cheers! - but this was a tiny bit harsher and rougher.

Florya (2027) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 15, 2015
How: Bottle Appearance; dark red/brown, small lightly tanned head. Aroma: herbs, floral, a bit perfume, citrus peel, thin coffee. Palate: medium to light body, soft carbonation.

Cunningham (8282) - Halden, NORWAY - FEB 19, 2015
Cloudy brownish color with a nice tan head. Nice lacing as well. Inviting aroma. Some chocolate, mild roasted and bready. Medium (+) body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. The flavor in this one was really pleasant and balanced. A brown ale I could drink many times! Mild bready, a bit chocolate, herbal hoppy and a bit roasted. Nice!
[Bottle from Systembolaget web order, Sweden]

Bottle. Semi hazy brown beer with a large disappearing beige head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, dark bread, nuts and sour chocolate. Flavor is malty with notes of acidic caramel, chocolate and dry bread. Might be this one has an infection.

Nische (2437) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 28, 2014
A dark brownish red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of maltand caramel. Somewhat bitter finish.

Tjoxen (173) - SWEDEN - JAN 24, 2014
Det är nog den bästa från Lundabryggeriet hittills jag smakat. Den är lite tunn, men den milda rökigheten drar upp betyget till en helt ok öl!
