I like this one. It's very different from the mainstream norwegian pilsners. The first time it reminded me of some malty east-german beers, later I've been not so sure about that, and have found it more hoppy. I have to test it again this summer.... larsga (7630) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 3, 2006
Huge offwhite head over golden body. Lovely grassy malts aroma, balanced and clean. Taste is pea-like grassy hops with faintly grainy malts in the background. Smooth mouthfeel. A quite good pilsener. (0.5l can.) Icedwarf (1763) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - JUL 18, 2015
Donker geel bier met weinig schuim. Gedronken in drijvend restaurant te Skien, Noorwegen. Het betere bier in Noorwegen van wat ik ken wat mij betreft, smaak is kruidig licht hoppig bitter en stevig. Erg goed bier.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale, pilsener golden with a small, creamy, white head. Malty nose. Medium body, sweetish malty - rather clean actually. Has a vague touch of sulphur. The finish is dry. Quite a decent Lager. 040307 Ungstrup (38248) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2007
Bottled. A light yellow beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with some notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty and with a light hop presence.

Nice aroma of malt and a hint of hops.
The taste was mutch the same as teh aroma, sweet malty flawour, hints of hops and a nice body.
Got surprised when i first tasted this beer.
Was expecting a regular mainstream beer like carlberg.
But this had some of the qualitys that you find in a staropramen lager. Hansen (8613) - Assentoft, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2010
Light yellow and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Faint hoppy aroma. Good flavor, reveals notes of iron-hoppy notes. Dry texture. abemorsten (3652) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2010
Pours clear light golden with a white head leaving a fair lacing as it dissapates into a spotty film. Aroma of yeast, flowers, faint goose berries. Complex for a Norwegian industrial lager, but not very inviting. Tastes sweet with a weak bitterness that stays to the finish along with malts. Mouth feel is watery and hinting towards paint thinner.
Given a choice between this and the usual Norwegian pilsner, I’d choose this one, but I wouldn’t be very happy about it.
