Huge white creamy head with some bubbles. Lasts quite well. Very pale yellow body. Hardly any aroma, except a faint whiff of grain and some very faint hops. Taste is clean, faintly acidic malts, with traces of apple and grain. Faintly bitter, watery aftertaste. Well. It’s a "summer beer", and while it’s not a total disgrace it’s not really very exciting, either. (0.5l can.) omhper (25564) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 10, 2004
Canned. Pale golden, rich head. Perfumy nose. Sweet, and rounded, lighly grassy. Slightly salty finish. Sigmund (7830) - Tau, NORWAY - JUN 22, 2003
(500 ml can). Another beer brewed by Aass Bryggeri, Drammen, in the name of long gone Lundetangen Bryggeri, Skien. Norwegian "summer beers" (= very light pilseners) are generally the work of the devil - this one is far from the worst of its kind. Light golden colour, moderate head, aromatic hops are not too bad (Saaz?), very light bodied (of course), clean taste (as far as there is any taste at all), not much bitterness / aftertaste. A thirstquencher for a hot summer's day - if there are no better beers around.
