I drank this beer on the last tuesday, directly at the bar of this brewery with Daniel. In my point of view, it is a classical IPA, developping at the nose, good aromas of pineapple and citrus. When you drink this pint, you smell directly the hop and these fruity aromas, malt hidden by the hop and probably in few quantity, the biggest critic coming from, is the fact that the taste is really watery for the style. The carbonation is regular, gold color, white foam, not bad but I tried better IPA tomandoaltura (363) - - NOV 20, 2017
Lo primero que destaca es el bouquet de lúpulos pináceos y cítricos que se convierte en un exótico aroma de mango al llevar el vaso a la boca. Jugoso amargor y final seco. Ritzn (2188) - GERMANY - JUL 12, 2017
Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is lychee mango dandelion. Fine and fruity. Taste is bitter hops with lots of grasses. Tiny bit grainy. Fresh and easy to drink. Medium body. A touch too bitter for my taste. Sarlacc83 (2471) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 26, 2017
Country tick. Thanks!
A: Orange color, thin white head.
N: Corn, straw, earth, some wheat, peppercorn, sulfur.
T: Bitter and sweet in mild proportions.
M: Light body, no alcohol, crisp carbonation.
O: Decent enough, I guess. Kind of gets lost in the shuffle off all the stouts and sours, but at the same time, it’s a pale lager, so I don’t feel I missed too much nuance. andrewje41 (4664) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - MAR 11, 2017
12 oz can poured, gifted by luttonm. Thanks! Can’t imagine I would ever run into a beer from these guys otherwise. Can lists this as a Session IPL. The styles continue to roll in! A clean and clear golden pour with a lasting foam head. Sweet, hoppy fruit aroma. Flavor is a little sweeter than expected. A red vine sweetness that I’ve began noticing in some beers recently. A solid beer here though, and quite unexpected. Definitely beyond the pale lager style, but I would be interested in trying the pale lager base beer. Good stuff.

Barranco Beer Company, Lima. Soft white foam, bright yellow gold body. Soft sweet hops on nose, pretty fresh and inviting. Good citrus hop presence with a touch of resin bitterness. Robust and balanced use of hops in an IPL. Body is smooth with a touch of creaminess, but is nicely crisped up with the bitterness. Surprisingly nice find. I really like this. A golden lager with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with surprising loads of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, cereal character, more like an IPL. On tap at brewery. nimbleprop (9048) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - APR 12, 2016
10oz goblet at the brewery pours a hazy orange with some frothy white head. Nose has lemon, grass, straw, a little corn. Flavor is much better, white grape, preserved lemon rind, grass, straw, a little soap, a yeasty character too. Dry and crisp on the end. Pretty good. Had on draft at the brewery. This one became my go to for a pint when we hit up the brewery during our 4 day stay in the Barranco area of Lima. Aroma is bright, citrusy, herbal hop character. Some grassiness to flavor. Very light soapy character, and a bitter finish. Really drinkable though.
