Sampled from the tap at the 2017 Winterfest. Pours a near clear light orange with a peach hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of pine with some onion, resin and sweet grains supporting. Flavor has more of an earthy dank pine note with earthy sweet grains and a bit of onion backing.

Pour out of 12 oz can, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of white fruit, orange, grapefruit, some tropical fruit notes, hints of bread. Taste was a mix of grapefruit, orange, bread, biscuit, some tropical fruits, slight peach, hints of grain, finishing slightly bitter. Tasty!

Draught. Pours cloudy orange with a medium, creamy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy juicy citrus and floral hops with fruity esters and medium bready malt. Flavor is heavy citrus and floral hops and moderate bitterness, medium bready malt and fruity esters and a medium dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Ericular (1036) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 18, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2017 Pours a murky orange. Aroma is tropical with rind and a good dose of Mosaic. Balanced aroma, very nice. Taste is similar, with a hit of Mosaic, then lots of rind in the middle with a wave of alcohol that makes itself known. Lively carbonation. Stine nailed it...just read his review.

Stine (1795) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 16, 2017
Fully hazed and apriocot hued; bordering on murky. Tangerine zest and cotton candy aroma, with clementine, rose hips, peach, and lemon custard. Angular moments of bitterness cut through, and alcohol shows a little; resins, and rotten banana. The flavor offers stone fruits, citrus, and spruce tips; the tiniest hint of onion skin and a bit of resin provide a flash of bitterness but it is brief. The interaction of different shades of fruit flavor is as fun as ever within this style, with guava, unripe cherry, and white peach all seeming prominent at one time or another.

There is a one-dimensional flatness to the flavor that is hard to describe. Crystal and caramel malts should be a thing of the past in this style, but this offering shows almost no malt component at all; where the best examples show off the sumptuous simplicity of a clean pale malt bill, this feels stripped and hollow, while at the same time the silty texture suggests the exact opposite. Acidity is a almost non-factor here as well. It is fairly dry and clean, although a hot pulse in the finish reveals the alcohol content to a degree.

jackl (8300) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 14, 2017
Can from Central Ave Liquors. Somewhat hazy orange pour with a modest off-white head. Fairly bright nose. Orange sherbet and some creamsicle. Gentle tropical fruit leather - Mano and pineapple. A bit of underarm. Flavor falls on the sweeter end of the spectrum. Full and a bit fat. Somewhat hot on the finish. Juicy citrus fruit character. A bit resinous, too. Pretty good stuff.
