Dark brown color, small steady beige head. Aroma has prunes, candy sugar, alcohol (booze) and some toasted notes. Medium-bodied. Caramel, prunes, bready maltyness and alcohol. Some fruity notes. Ok flavor but has lots of booze.
Bottle. An unclear, reddish brown beer topped by a finger-thick, light beige head. Prunes, dark sugars, some roasted malts and caramel in the aroma. Yeast too. The flavor has an almost unpleasant hoppy bitterness, else it’s more or less the same as the aroma. Full body, sort of too carbonated. Bitter, lightly roasted finish. Overall, too yeasty, and there’s also some vegetables. Not DMS, but green asparagus or broccoli. 130516
