COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark brown bordeaux-coloured beer with a firm broken-white head. The aroma is pleasant, with some pear and roasted nuts. The palate is nutty, with some chocolate impressions followed by exotic fruit. This beer with strong character has a beautiful finish with some bitter hop and caramel.

Bottle. An unclear, reddish brown beer topped by a finger-thick, light beige head. Prunes, dark sugars, some roasted malts and caramel in the aroma. Yeast too. The flavor has an almost unpleasant hoppy bitterness, else it’s more or less the same as the aroma. Full body, sort of too carbonated. Bitter, lightly roasted finish. Overall, too yeasty, and there’s also some vegetables. Not DMS, but green asparagus or broccoli. 130516

Fles geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donker bruin bier met een witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een gebrande smaak met een zoetje.

Heel redelijke klassieke dubbel. Niet erg stevig van smaak, maar met lichte hinten van een zoetje. Stevig in koolzuur. Prima.

zapach przyjemny, bardzo złożony, sporo mocno przypieczonego karmelu, podpieczonego chleba, orzechów, pralin, kakao, alkoholu, może trochę rumu i odrobina korzennych przypraw. śliwka? kolor brązoworubinowy, lekko, równomiernie zmętniony. piana beżowa, drobna, obfita i dość trwała. w smaku pełne, złożone, lekko kwaśnawe, karmelowe, truflowe, lekko dzikie, korzenne i przyprawowe, z nutami kakao. goryczka niewysoka, raczej trzeba jej szukać, lekko ziołowa, karmelowa, alkoholowa. nasycenie zdecydowanie wysokie.

Donkerbruin bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is licht bitterzoet met iets van chocolade, noot en mango. Goed bier wat mij betreft.
