Rated on 3-05-2010 at Fort Wayne, IN Gathering. This Mead, courtesy of hotstuff and thedm, has an appearance of a yellow transparent body. The aroma is honey, sweet and spicy. The taste is honey, some spice, sweet, and has a dry finish. The palate is very smooth and this Mead is medium bodied. Overall, this Mead is very easy to drink even with a 13% ABV. It is worth trying and a Mead I would drink again. Christian (13759) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2011

Sweet honey, gentle spice. Little to say, it is what it is..... I think my issue with this is the fact that it’s a UK wine-styled mead. It doesn’t have the heft of a polish mjod, it’s paler, thinner, and simpler at its base. The spices seem to be there as if they’re just covering up something, or the lack of something, and aren’t well integrated. Not unpleasant, but not my style of mead.
Bottle at ChrisO & Ruth’s - Thanks. Clear golden - white head. Honey, sharpness, spicy, raisins, wooden, almonds, light marzipan, high sweetness, alcoholic. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 31, 2011

From bottle @ Paisley Beer Festival 2011. White wine coloured. Aroma is honey and a bit spicy. Flavour is sweet cloying honey, bit of heat, dusty and light peppery. A bit odd but pleasant. thedm (6279) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 26, 2010
This corked and caged bottled mead from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of medium sized clear colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent yellow orange colored body and a oily lacing. The aroma was musty and honey. . The strong flavor contained notes of vinous sweet mild spice and honey. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again. jsquire (4537) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - MAY 7, 2010
Shared at thedm and hotstuff’s. Yellow gold color and still. Honey sweet nose with lots of herbs. Lots of honey sweetness in the taste with some flower, pine and clove spice. Full flavored mead.
