Only the Single malt that it seems double malto! Fantastic beer, vaguely similar to the kwak, from the persistent foam and the caramellato aroma. L’unica Singolo malto che sembra una doppio malto! Fantastica birra, vagamente simile alla kwak, dalla schima persistente e dall’aroma caramellato.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2009 Aged sample, BB 2005, sampled end 2009 (about 6 years old). Hazy orange/brown colored, off-white head. Caramel malty nose, fruit. Flavor of apple, caramel again, quite sour with some sweetness. Easy drinking, nice beer.

Orangy amber color; nice fluffy white head. Malty honey aroma; some fruit. Very bock-like in taste. Nice hops bitterness after a malty sweetness. Very caramelly. Nice, smotth, sitcky mouthfeel. Drying hops. Something I’d buy again if it were available to me.

From old tasting notes. Translucent orange copper colorwith a off white head. Fragrant toasted malt aroma. Delicious roasted flavor upfront is complex and flavorful. Subtle spicy hop finish. Light dry aftertaste. Very flavorful and well balanced. Nice lacing, as well.

Redish beer with a frothy headthat lasts forever. The aroma and flavour are very malty with little bitterness. Overall a very, very drinkable beer and you do not notice the alcohol strength at all.

Ah, Lutece! Oddbins used to sell this many years ago, I supped many bottles of it then. Packed with loads of rich malty, spicy and fruity flavours. A very satisfying brew.
