orangeish hazy beer, but not so dark than expected when reading the description of the brewery. smells yeasty and bready. tasts yeasty, cerally, refreshing, but not so fruity. a bit of spicyness. aftertaste bready, cookie-like.
I bought this beer at Drink of the World, Luzern. I drank it quietly at Bonfol, to celebrate the national day. It is a classical hefe-weizen. The color is orange-yellow troubled. The carbonation is regular and the foam is white. The taste is well balanced, wheat, banana, plum, some hop, refreshing beer. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 30, 2011
courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - pours a cloudy dark orange beer under a solid long lasting and creamy white head; yeasty nose and with a nice balance between cloves and banana; a solid carbonation and a medium to full malt backbone, pretty tasty, moderately sweet and with a quite dry and slightly salty finish with lingering notes of banana and spices - never cloying thanks to a very beautiful profile making of this a really good and very drinkable beer; probably as good as a Weizen can be - nice work! rand (1700) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 27, 2011
Bottle 33 cl from Gourmiland - Dagmersellen (CH). Dunkel pallid or rather amber steady and cloudy, nice head on Champagne crackling. Aromas of yeast, fruit, banana, clove. Soft mouth, rather voluminous, creamy, with exotic fruits, clove, yeast and note of orange blossom. Finale in bread-apricot jam and ginger, perfumed.
