Draught. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Smells a bit like cats piss, grass, hops. Tastes of a light sweetness, medium grassy bitterness, salty. Light bodied, light carbonation, watery/oily texture. Not great, but it works for a lager.

16.9oz bottle 11/16/16 (Binnys Plainfield)-48 in Lager Glass-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of grains, malt, and sweetness. Taste of the same. this light bodied brew is not bad as I was expecting worse.

Another beer from my ancestral homeland! (Althou the brewery is owned by Carlsberg, apparently the biggest brewing company in Eastern Europe). This light beer pours very foamy, and has an aroma that is a little unpleasant, with notes of wet dog, fresh paint, and linseed oil. The flavor is bready, with a bit of Swiss cheese and honey. I sampled it at room temperature and got better than expected results.

Sweet, malty nose with some orange notes. Pale, golden pour with brief, white foam. Candy sweet citrus taste with mild bitterness. Medium body, slightly slick. Slight metallic touches and slick finish. The bottle may have been old, I found it on a dusty bottom shelf.

Zwykły lager, lekko kwaskowaty. Nawet trochę chmielu. Jabłka. rednio wysycony. Daje się pić.

Sampled draft at the patio bar on Андріїв& узвіз near Bulgakov Museum (great tour & museum by the way). This one seemed like the biggest beer in Ukraine so I figured that I needed to investigate it. Totally clear beer, little white head. Nose is dull sweet apple, grain, low stale urine. Taste is sweet grainy soap, low plastic, sugar, bland, soft carbonation, near low cooked cabbage. Pretty weak, expected it a tad better even though it is a giant industrial beer. Brewery used to have some genuine history but these days it is just an industrial hollow shell masquerading.
