Beer - saturated ruby color , foam - light brown , medium resistant . Aroma - a powerful , burning caramel. Taste first a little brusquely , but the sharpness very quickly overshadows an interesting and original wood , burnt caramel bouquet with characteristic wine component. Aftertaste - very long , which is dominated by caramel roasted. Undoubtedly, Lviv Porter is a complete and unique representative of this style of beer as a Baltic Porter . However , as for me , in its present form , it lacks a little sweetness and a rich color and balanced taste.

Ruby clear beer with 2 fingers of beige head that disapears with loud hiss. Aroma: very sweet, a lot of fruits, dark fruits, sweet caramel. Taste: very sweet, a lot of dark fruits like cherry, some bready notes, a lot of dark caramel, alcoholy taste on finish. Palate: dry, high carbonated, alcoholy. Overall: Too light, too dry, too alcoholy, not smooth enough, not enough of dark malts. Not bad beer, but average as for baltic porter.

The beer has a lovely look. The color is a beautiful dark ruby red with a brownish glow. The beer seems rather light. On top of the beer there is a nice layer of brown foam, which collapses quickly. A nice drape of foam remains. The smell of the beer is nice. It has the mild roasted barley tones typical for a valid porter. The smoke aroma is milder than with the Irish and English porters. I also smell some licorice and syrup. The taste is amazing. It has a lovely roasty touch and a silky touch. Its a nice mouth sensation. There is a nice bitterness and a lovely malty sweetness. I love this beer.

Barwa ciemno-brunatna, piana bujna, biała. Aromat średnio-intensywny: ciemne pieczyw, palony karmel, cola, syrop cukrowy. W smaku słodkie, mało intensywne jak na portera bałtyckiego: palona kawa zbożowa, karmel, goryczka średnio-niska, alkoholowa.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2017 Karmel, kawa, trochę suszonych owocw i delikatna lukrecja. Niestety dość wodniste, trochę alkoholowe, pustawe. Średnie wysycenie, średnia do niskiej goryczka.

Spory zawd. Po wysokiej ocenie miałem nadzieję na coś naprawdę niezłego. W smaku i aromacie umieściłbym to piwo gdzieś w okolicach lekkiego robust porteru. Jest trochę czekolady, paloności raczej niewiele. Sporo melanoidyn, kakao, chleba. Momentami sprawia wrażenie wręcz koźlaka. Jest ok, miałem nadzieję na coś bardzo porządnego i solidnego.

(Kiev 2016) 500 ml. sampled. This one is currently #2 beer for Ukraine on RB, I remember this one being #1 for a long time for me this just shows the lack of participation of people from certain countries on RB. I blame the fact that all beers have to be entered in the Latin alphabet on RB, lack of a website layout in other languages, there is definitely more interesting beer in Ukraine these days than this, I have stop complaining. Bottled 24.03.2016. Dark brown, little tanned bubbles. Nose is cold herbal iron, low medicine, iron, herbal, vegetable industrial chocolate. Taste is fizzy industrial vegetable industrial chocolate, medicinal, cacao, raw plant, messy, industrial, not too industrial vegetable ect. Lager, fizzy, Dont really get the decent score here on RB.

Lviv Porter. Beer, low foaming, taste sweet aftertaste of coffee. One of the best dark drank recommend.
