Bottle.Pours yellow with a white head. Some grassy noble hops in the nose.Sweet , green apples with some bitter hops in the flavor.Thin bodied.Kinda hoppy for a pale lager.

Papillon (402) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2009
500 mL Bottle. Straw body with a foamy-bubbly white head that settles to a thin ring, a bit of spotty lacing. Aroma of light malt, grains, grass with fruity-floral notes and a hint of yeast. Flavor of light malt, grass, hint of lemon, hops come through in the aftertaste without assaulting the senses. Nice clean finish. A Northern summer beer. I’ll take this one to a summer picnic.

Rune (12944) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 26, 2009
500ml bottle purchased at a kiosk near the painted panorama site in Sevastopol. Fragile white head on top of a golden body with brilliant clarity. Fresh smell of grass. The taste is a partial successful mix of grain, mild lemon and hay and leaving with a dry ending. Rather foamy in the mouth. Medium to thin bodied (12.07.2009).

MrRoss (646) - Delta, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 17, 2009
An average "iron curtain" lager; not terrible but not especially good either. This one poured a clear gold colour with a small white head, and no carbonation of note. The aroma seemed to balance hops and malt. Taste was acceptable but not noteworthy, being that of just a basic lager.

yay! Will this be good or a total disaster????
Gots me a nice clear gold beer with a thin white head and thin spotty lacing. Sweet but not overly sweet on the nose, apricots (not sweet), pear, fresh hearty bread and good hops! The taste is also good. Mild hops, some sweet grain / bread. Soft east with the mildest of spice and a touch of bitterness on the finish. Light medium bodied, smooth with good carbonation. The bitterness becomes more evident on the finish when warmer.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2010 500ml bottle (Limaty)
Clear orange. Floral non-descript aroma. Light lager palate, a touch sweet. odd plasticky taste, but even the iceberg lettuce I’d just had had more bitterness - in fact I could still taste the lettuce after the beer. Worth ignoring.
Rerate: 3 Slightly perfumey, a touch mentholly chemical aroma.
2 Pale, tiny head
3 Pretty potent chemical blast. Later, it’s papery too
1 Fizzy palate, wacky chemical mess. Finish chemical and metallic
4 A real mess, heading towards good old fashioned nasty. Not lacking taste, simply lacking, and lacking a sense of taste.

MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2009 Draught. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. Lagery aroma. The flavour starts off a little watery, but turns malty before fading away. Low bitterness. Slightly thin mouthfeel. Not exciting, but OK clean. 5 3 5 3 10

Draught at the brewery museum. Mild vinous aroma. Almost clear pale yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is mildly citric, but not bad. Faintly creamy aftertaste. 5 3 5 3 9

I tried this beer on May 20, 2009 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a clear gold colour with a thin white head. The aroma was grainy malt with a hint of hops. The mouthfeel was quite weak, almost watery with mild carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt with tons of metal.

probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 22, 2009
500 ml bottle from LCBO in Bramalea, served cold in a rocks glass. JL31/07.

App.: Medium straw, clear, small white meringue. Aroma: Faintly sweet, corn and cereal, really faint grassy/peppery hops, slight stale apple juice. Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation, slightly syrupy. Flav.: Slightly sweet corn and cereal, fainty peppery/grassy hops, basically no bitterness with a very faint, non-descript grain finish.

Ukrainian for “blah”.
