On tap at the Grande Hotel in Lviv, Ukraine. Unimaginative, typical lager with grassy hops. Very thin and watery. Uninteresting lager. Oakes (18198) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 3, 2004
UPDATED: APR 7, 2005 Golden straw colour. Grassy hop note dominates the aroma, with a hint of bready malts. The bitterness is low but the malts bready and clean. The hops are grassy and fresh. Evenly balanced. yngwie (17101) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 29, 2009
Bottle, 4.5%. It’s a clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Yet again from Lvivske, a nicely hopped pale lager, with malts and fine hops in the aroma and flavor. The flavor feels sort of hop-driven, where pale malts and fruits are in the background. Bitter finish with fruityness and some metallic hints. Really dry mouthfeel, medium body. 090829

Clear orange. Floral non-descript aroma. Light lager palate, a touch sweet. odd plasticky taste, but even the iceberg lettuce I’d just had had more bitterness - in fact I could still taste the lettuce after the beer. Worth ignoring.
3 Slightly perfumey, a touch mentholly chemical aroma.
2 Pale, tiny head
3 Pretty potent chemical blast. Later, it’s papery too
1 Fizzy palate, wacky chemical mess. Finish chemical and metallic
4 A real mess, heading towards good old fashioned nasty. Not lacking taste, simply lacking, and lacking a sense of taste.
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2009 Draught. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. Lagery aroma. The flavour starts off a little watery, but turns malty before fading away. Low bitterness. Slightly thin mouthfeel. Not exciting, but OK clean. 5 3 5 3 10
