A yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with light notes of straw, while the flavor is sweet malty, leading to a dry good bitter hoppy end.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2008
Golden with a nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of straw, grass and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness, a slightly citrussy bitterness, notes of straw and malt, and it ends on a dry note. It’s refreshing and the bitterness is right for this beer.

Ernest (7815) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), with a light note of soap. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Like the Ungespundetes, pretty underwhelming. Light, bland, and ordinary. A tad soapy, but the hops are bright

Vom Fass aufm Keller - Standard Helles in Franken. Süßlich-malzig mit grobporigem Schaum, der schnell vergeht.

2.6
McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2014
Bottle from Landbierparadies. Pours out in a deep golden colour with low airy ehad and medium body. Aroma of mild hops and straw. Taste of hops, barley, bread, straw, hay and flowers. Grainy-bready finish. Refreshing and nice. Solid but boring. Drinkable.

2.4
ganache (6050) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Bottle by 16.10.12. Nose of sweet malt with some grass and lighter chalk. Dull clear golden with a rocky bright white head. Light body with moderate carbonation and a grainy/chalky feel, lightly bittersweet with some citrus and a hint of tannin/astringency, but the overall effect is disappointing -- sort of dusty and stale. Aftertaste is really grainy.
